Microsoft recently increased their software pricing back in October 1, 2018; however, they have come back with an additional price increase for Canadians on December 1, 2018.
Office 365, Volume Licensing, and other programs will see an additional 5% increase after December 1, 2018.
If you have an existing Office 365 account, they are typically on a 1 year renewal term, you will not see this increase until the renewal of your account. This means you will not have an increase in your existing licenses or any licenses you add to your account until after that period. Contact your IT team to determine when you will see this increase.
